What’s up, Wampus Cats! Today we’re highlighting a special visit to Itasca Elementary’s 5th grade. Three formally dressed men from the Gideons visited on Wednesday, March 4th, 2026, to speak with students and hand out miniature Bibles.
The visitors were friendly, engaging, and shared that Gideons are known for placing Bibles in hotel rooms and spreading God’s word. They explained that the purpose of their visit was to remind students that they are loved and valued.
The event took place in the school gym, where all 5th graders received a Bible to take home or share with a family member. It was a meaningful experience, and students had a great time.
