Anniya is being celebrated for her positive and warm attitude, as well as her engaging personality and great sense of humor. She is currently a junior at Itasca High School and is working toward graduating and becoming a certified travel ultrasound technician.
When asked what helps her stay positive, Anniya shared, “I am able to stay positive all the time because I gratefully lead a very comfortable life, and I know that there are people out there who are suffering or worse off.” Her gratitude and outlook on life truly set her apart.
Anniya is a standout student and an excellent example of what it means to be a Wampus Cat. When asked for advice for other students who want to stand out and be a positive example, she said, “Don’t be a follower. Keep good company because you become the company you keep, and don’t be afraid to try new things.”
